Surrealist garden Xilitla + Cave of Swallows (Sotano de las Golondrinas) + rappel + rafting + Tamtoc archeological site + Puente de Dios waterfall + Tamul waterfall + visit in Tequisquiapan
Itinerary:
Day 1: We’ll pick you up around 5 a.m. and head towards Huasteca Potosina. Our first stop will be the Surealist Xilitla and Las Pozas of Edward James. Afterwards we’ll go to the Sotano de las Golondrinas to see the evening “bird show”.
Day 2: After breakfast we’ll get ready for rappelling. We’ll hike to the cave and have an “introduction to rappel” from your instructor before starting to descend.
Day 3: We’ll spend the day rafting and swimming in the river (Rio Tampaonor Rio Micos, depending on the season).
Day 4: After breakfast we’ll go to Tamtoc archeological site and visit the ancient city with a guide. Next we’ll visit Tamasopo and Puente de Dios waterfalls where you can relax, swim, jump and go hiking.
Day 5: In the morning we’ll take a boat and row it towards the 100-meter-high Tamul waterfall . We’ll make a short stop by a nearby cave where you can jump in and have a swim. After lunch we’ll start our way back to Mexico City, visiting Tequisquiapan on the way. Return late at night.
